It is nice. I like it very much. The title of the novel has been matched very well to the cover. The title of this novel sounds cool. It reflects the whole story and matches the story. Thank you Mr. Sudeep Nagarkar for gifting us such kind of story. It reflects the practical social life of a love affair. This type of love affair practically happens now a days. All characters play an important role here in this novel.

Specially Aditya ans Jazz , main characters are rectified well. One can learn grammar skills from this novel. Appropriate grammars have been used here. Writing style is nice. Simple words have been used so that all people can understand easily. God also helps them to stay connected with each other.

Feb 25, Nandhitha rated it it was ok. First of all,I must appreciate Sudeep Nagarkar for writing about so called "taboo" issues in his book, and also for writing about so many issues at once: But that is where I draw the line on appreciation, and begin to focus on the faults.

Shibani is a passionate biker. Should'nt biking form atleast a small part of the story? It is instead just written to show out her character: Also,I never felt very connected with her,she remained a one dimensional character, though I sympathised with her in the end. Tushita was a character who was even more one dimensional than her sister,Shibani.

Though she had mental and physical scars, the hurt which she felt kept being displayed almost in the same words, that I lost interest. Tushita's Prince the way she depicts her ideal man was again, repeated so many times. Also,Tushita coping with the scars arent exactly shown. Geet was a character I liked, given her superior intelligence. But the fact I did not like in Geet and the entire book was that a girl had to become pretty for the guy to like her.

Rudra didn't give Geet a second glance till she turned pretty. Also whatever the girls wore was heavily discussed some times only,I admit but that put me off.

Rudra was very badly characterised,in fact I could not understand what even was his character. Geet could perceive well, but apart from that,I didn't understand what even drew them together,or why Geet is said to be kind and all that.

Vivaan was good. I liked him especially when he was the only one who understood Shibani. Ending was very stereotypical. The book could have been written much better. May 12, Lanaya rated it did not like it. I bought a copy because I was researching on what kind of books sell and I noticed that this was a best seller.

I sincerely thank the author for writing this because it gave me a lot of confidence in my own writing. I possibly cannot write any worse than this abomination. I do not understand how people give out 5 or 4 star reviews for this book when the writing lacks depth and characterization.

It was just 80 or so pages of incoherent rambling without any real dialogue. I would say 6th class stu I bought a copy because I was researching on what kind of books sell and I noticed that this was a best seller. I would say 6th class students of our high schools would have a better love story to tell than this guy. The author should retire storytelling ideally but his legion of fans wouldn't let him. He brings the caliber of Indian authors down. I literally wept for the people that had to read this monstrosity.

Jul 20, Qaynaat Banatwala rated it did not like it. This book sucks. I never read Indian authors but i was forced to read this on a train journey. Im someone who wants to complete the book once started no matter how bad it is. I painfully finished this book as fast as I could. The story was lame typical bollywoodish kind.

The characters were very plain.

His writing style and vocabulary is of a 4th grade student who is forced to write an essay in exam and he writes whatever the hell he can manage to score marks. I wish we had better authors in Ind This book sucks.

I wish we had better authors in India and most importantly, better readers because as long as people keep reading and making such shitty books bestsellers, we are never going to get rid of these pathetic 'writers' Oct 31, Mira rated it it was ok. It ended to a boring story. I think author was able to make too good. However, I don't understand how could Geet forgive Shivani so easily? I can understand the feelings of Shivani, but it doesn't allot her the right to upload private pics of her best friend? The only thing I liked was the nature of Vivan.

A good example of an ideal personality. Overal The introductory part was so interesting that I thought it would end with an interesting climax. Overall, I don't recommend to read it. Jan 01, Reader Women rated it liked it. A nice plot with twists and turns and many revelations is the peculiar thing about the novel.

I am not much into romantic novels so for me the novel is okayish. This is my first book from the author and so I started reading it with no hopes and no expectations.

After the completion, what themes i could note from it were that some touching as well as adult issues have been discussed along with the title of each chapter. Friendship was the main theme around which the whole story revolves and binds A nice plot with twists and turns and many revelations is the peculiar thing about the novel. Friendship was the main theme around which the whole story revolves and binds up the characters.

Dec 22, Raja rated it liked it. Not up to that mark Narration was fabulous no doubt, But the story is little bit common. In my point of view it was not a one time read too May 28, Ahdev rated it it was ok.

The novel revolves around four friends, of different personalities, ambitions and problems, who moved in a same flat. The story takes an interesting turn when one of the friends caught herself in a mess.

The story further talks about how they recover from her mistake. This is a story about four friends- Aahana, Varun, Malvika and Garima, who moved together in a same flat in Mumbai. All of them have contrasting family background but feel better when they start staying together. Each of them tries to solve each others' problems and in this process they come closer to each other. Malvika and Varun get engaged, Aahana breaks up with her BF and Garima as usual trying hard to recover from her past without discussing with her friends.

Their life takes an ugly turn when Garima gets a message on Whatsapp blackmailing her. Blackmailer wants personal favor from her. All the friends tried to find out solution but messed up the entire situation. Finally, they solve their problems with the help of their family members, both getting rid of problems and reconciling with their respective families.

Writing Style: Writing style of Sudeep is very simple like a typical college guy. It is so simple that it becomes boring. I do not understand why he kept on writing weird philosophies at the end of every chapter.

It irritates reader a lot. These dialogues are used many a times and seems irritating. Another problem with the writing is that it is written for those people who are not even going to read it.

I seriously doubt if the class of people depicted in the people are actually going to read these books personal opinion guys. This is the first book whose title has nothing to do with the content. You are trending in my dreams?? Not at all relevant to the story. None of the characters have been established properly.

Plots are so simple and amusing that you will that you are watching any B- Grade movie. Sex scenes have been described in a disgusting manner, as if readers have bought this book to read soft porn book. Boozing, partying, making fun, pranks and all have been justified so easily through this book. It is a book which has disappointed me heavily.

It was my first Sudeep nagarkar book and i was freaked out literally. If you want to save your time and money, do not buy and read it. Sudeep has to introspect on this novel. Very hilariously irritating and boring book. Thank you Sudeep Nagarkar and Random House Publisher for giving me opportunity to read and review this book.

Thanks Kirtiman for lending this book. I am sorry that i made you buy this book. Sudeep Nagarkar is now 6 books old in his writing career of 4 years with his latest release "You're trending in my dreams" which has already hit the Bestseller chart and has become his one of the best openings in terms of pre-order and initial sales.

It has become more about marketing propaganda than quality for which these big publication houses are known for. Sudeep Nagarkar had improved with time as a writer and he had finally started writing mature stories based on youth but I think the target given by publishing house to complete the book by a particular deadline are making these authors write a story in a go without giving much research and time to overthink and make it better.

YTIMD is the big example of the same. It stands no where even if compared to Sudeep's first book as a writer where he has scribbled his own story without much creative inputs. The ratings that I have given to Sudeep Nagarkar in order of his releases are as follows: It is very childish and written similarly as a junior college student writes his personal diary with few poems, few philosophical sentences which are cliche and known to everyone, talks on how girls are treated like an object etc.

I have always liked an ability about Sudeep of picking up a location and doing pure justice with it and also describing the youth as similar as possible as they really actually are.

This time he picked up Navi Mumbai and didn't discuss it quite well and also, the characters aren't built keeping the location in mind.

It looks as if it's about the crowd from Lower Parel or Churchgate and not from Navi Mumbai where boys and girls still aren't that modern to share a room together. Initially, the book picks well and the way it starts, it seems as if Sudeep is going to deliver another great story but the way it becomes quite obvious after a point of time, it starts irritating a fan in you.

She Swiped Right Into My Heart

Finally, the main twist arrives and the book does get better but again, how easily the whole issue is handled becomes the drowning point of this story. I didn't feel as if Sudeep have written this story. As I have discussed above, I feel publishers should give time to these writers who are actually making Indian youth read month after month rather than giving them targets like releasing a book every 8th month or so.

Give the author plenty of time to research, prepare, write, edit, write, edit and finally review his work, share it with his close friends, get their reviews, again edit the story and build the final manuscript. I give this book just 1 star and I wish Sudeep bounces back with his next book as a fan in me is largely disappointed this time.

I am waiting for one of my favorite authors to write better than his best work till date.

Pls for God sake stop explaining all those intimate situations in detail View 1 comment. May 30, Sasidharan M rated it did not like it. Got this book as a gift from my brother.

God knows why he chose this book of all!

I never leave a book halfway, but I struggled really hard to even get past the halfway mark with this one. That's when I decided that enough was enough and dropped it. I wouldn't have written such a harsh review if I hadn't read the excerpt from DNAindia on the book co Got this book as a gift from my brother. I wouldn't have written such a harsh review if I hadn't read the excerpt from DNAindia on the book cover saying, the author 'has' taken the 'world' of Indian writing by storm.

A big kudos to the author for publishing 6 books at such a tender age. But I don't think his 'youth achiever award' was given for his writing; for, it has huge room for improvement! Not just my opinion. None of his books have a rating of even 4 in Goodreads. There's one book with a hard 3. All this with just as few as ratings. Media should refrain from publicising such lofty statements that mislead people.

Goodreads should seriously consider incorporating a negative rating option in their website! Oct 04, Rahul rated it liked it. Title is catchy and so the cover, might grab your eyeballs at first-account. It's the story of four friends. The whole story revolves around their lives. Right from prologue, author hooks you thoroughly, without a doubt. As story further moves, satires and gossips make the reader laugh though for a while.

What a reader wants - an engaging story. Needless to say, author has woven words delicately, keeping the reading pleasure afresh. However, at times you might struggle connecting with the charact Title is catchy and so the cover, might grab your eyeballs at first-account.

However, at times you might struggle connecting with the characters' ideal traits and their activities. And so, certain things actually don't click or connect. In the last half, occurence of events are too fast, leaving the reader confused.

A lot could have done better by slowing down the pace and by colouring the events in more refined way.

So the final ordeal.

If you're looking to read a book on friendship, for sure, it's a charming gift awaiting for you to be read. Sep 19, Sarah rated it did not like it. Same old indian story. Ntn else..!! Many other issues are prominently discussed in this book but the prime is about a girl who identifies her sexual orientation not being straight. And how she ends up fulfilling her sexual desire is another throwback into this book which is majorly covered in 2nd part of it.

In short, author is trying to convey many messages to the youth through his stories and that's what makes him click with his fans and new young readers who are picking his books one after another and making him much bigger with each one of them. Coming to the drawbacks of this book, I would say that author takes lot of sentences to assure himself that the particular message is reaching his readers which makes it little boring and irritating when you get the message in the first sentence itself but still end up reading the same thing explained in different ways for next 2 pages.

It would be great if author will try to be specific and be confident while describing even a disturbing scenario in a sentence or two. This will ripple more effect on readers. Rest, the twists and turns in this story weren't revealed in a proper manner which lessened its impact. The characters could have been woven with little more finesse the way Geet is treated in the book.

You find it hard to connect with anyone else as you do with Geet.Team 2 Book Submission. But after all it's a no Very pleasant book to read. There are many who claim writing love stories is easy.
