Just well written and awesome layout - and easy to digest! Not only are the development pictures stunning but this is the first pregnancy book I've read that actually makes me feel better. Seriously, some of the books out there will totally make a girl feel like a troll. It's scientific yet has lots of pictures and is accessible to the layperson us!

It also throws in anecdotes, common Qs and As, old wives' tales, and a great glossary and reference guide. As the title suggests, it devotes one page to each day of pregnancy so readers always "know" at least something of what's going on. This book combines the most information with the least fear-mongering of any pregnancy book I've looked at so far. The next person I know to get pregnant is getting this as a gift!

This book is so helpful and enlightening each and every day. It provides information on a daily basis which means you can absorb details as you need them rather than try to take on too much at once. The photos are amazing and its really fascinating to know what is going on inside each day.

It has a breakdown literally by day of the changes happening in a mother's body. I love it so far. I've skipped ahead after the dating ultrasound, so I am at 12 weeks and 5 days, however, I am also catching up by back tracking to see what has already happened.

The Day by Day Pregnancy Book review

It's very detailed and being able to read about the exact phases the foetus is going through at any point in time is interesting and helpful. It's got a good mix of easy to understand science, focus on lifestyle exercise, food etc , emotional and physical aspects. I've got a few pregnancy books but this one is by far the best. May 25, J. I LOVE the pictures in this book. By far the best in that sense and the information was decent as well. It's nice if you're just looking for something that's short but keeps you informed. If nothing else, I would check it out for the pictures and it's in my top 3 favorite pregnancy books.

Loved all the full color pictures and ultrasound scans, as well as the descriptions of what was happening day by day, as well as trimester by trimester, and through the birth.
