There is NO reason these permissions are needed for anything but spying. In fact the privacy policy on their website is now gone link is dead so we have no Idea what they are doing with the data they steal from us.

Amazon needs to take these apps down and fine the developers for adding invasive permissions. What's even worse is people who paid for the app here or elsewhere are basically paying to be tracked and have their data sold. Paying to be spied on is total bs. Don't support this type of garage.

Don't buy this app and make sure you email the dev telling them you are sick of the nonsense. AAmazon please stop devs from adding bad permissions to apps.

I've had this app for years and purchased a new tablet. Decided to try it, even with all the bad reviews! To view the accept button flip your kindle from portrait to landscape and it will be at the bottom. I have a kindle fire HDX. I have had good results from the office suite, so adding this app seemed like a no brainer. The install went fine until the eul was displayed. I could read it, scroll it, but could not continue past it. I could leave the app and it informed me I needed to accept the eul.

Uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. Accept and Decline boxes appeared at the bottom of the screen. Rotating the screen to portrait caused the Accept and Decline boxes to disappear.

If they can't get this much right, what bugs are in the actual app? This showed up in my OfficeSuitePro when I updated that program. It appeared to be another utility function added to the pro version of Office. But when I clicked on the scanner, it took me to the Amazon App store to 'purchase' it for free, which I did.
