Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Similar to my review of Langman, this book, which is one use by the national Board of chiropractic examiners, is just not well written and can't tell a good story.

It's all over the place, just like Langman. If you bought both of these books, you would get a better story but still not a great story. Student still wouldn't understand embryology well at all, at no fault of their own. If I had to pick one, it would be Carlson which is by far the most comprehensive and tells a pretty good story. Taken from an associate professor who is trying to build an advanced class on embryology, the only way to achieve this is to buy all five books Larsen, Langman, Moore, Carlson, and Singh , read them, and then slowly put together your PowerPoint slides.

You'll get a pretty good story this way. Somebody who is a good storyteller needs to write a good embryology book.
